photovoltaics
down arrow
Photovoltaics (PV) converts solar energy into electricity and is currently one of the most popular technologies for decentralized energy generation. The direct current generated by PV can be converted into alternating current using inverters, which can then be used directly in the company (a self-consumption rate of up to 100% is possible). In accordance with the current feed-in tariff, surpluses can be fed into the power grid for at least 20 years.

battery storage

Battery storage systems are technologies that can store electrical energy and release it again when needed. These systems consist of battery cells that are monitored and controlled by a battery management system (BMS). Modern battery storage systems often use lithium-ion technology, which is characterized by high energy density and durability. The stored electricity can come from various sources, in particular from renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic systems. Applications such as peak shaving, grid stabilization and the combination with photovoltaic systems to maximize self-consumption are particularly interesting.

charging infrastructure

Charging stations are a great technology both for employees at the site and for decarbonizing the internal vehicle fleet and are always recommended. They help to reduce operating costs, strengthen the environmental profile and offer additional services for employees and customers. From the perspective of decarbonizing energy supply, they should be seen as an additional burden. For technologies such as photovoltaics or wind energy, they increase self-consumption rates and thus make these solutions even more attractive.

heat pump
down arrow
(High-temperature) heat pumps offer industry and commerce the opportunity to become independent of fossil fuels for hall heating and low-temperature process heat (< 200 °C). The availability of a heat source is very important for heat pumps. In particular, freely available waste heat is an outstanding heat source. From 2025, the waste heat reporting requirement will help to precisely identify the potential. Technology is evolving rapidly, and we're happy to help you identify your individual potential and navigate the technology landscape.

FAQ

Here we answer frequently asked questions
What data is required for the Gridty Energy Check?
Only a few details are required for a well-founded analysis. This includes the size of the company, the economic sector and the location. Information on current electricity and energy requirements as well as on existing energy technologies such as a photovoltaic system is also required. On this basis, our software provides a precise and data-based evaluation of the best energy solutions for your company.
Who can benefit from Gridty products?
Gridty offers tailor-made software solutions for anyone who wants to efficiently plan and implement sustainable energy concepts. Companies with several properties that want to optimize their energy supply benefit in particular, as well as energy consultants, project engineers, installers and energy supply companies who want to offer their customers well-founded analyses and tailor-made recommendations.
What happens to my data?
Data protection is our top priority. We are fully GDPR-compliant and host all data exclusively on secure servers in Germany. Customer data is never passed on to third parties and is only used in anonymized form — for example for benchmarking purposes or to continuously improve our algorithms.
